Watered terms of service.

01Who these terms are between

Watered is made and published by NEXTPACE APP, a company registered in Cyprus under number HE475440. These terms are the agreement between you and us about how you use the app. By installing and using Watered, you accept them.

02What Watered does

Watered helps you keep track of your houseplants. It identifies plants from a photo, suggests how often each one needs water, and reminds you when it is time. There is no account to create — the app works on your phone and keeps your plants there.

03Plant advice is guidance, not a guarantee

This is the most important thing on this page. Plant identification and watering schedules are estimates produced by software, and software gets things wrong. A species can be misidentified. A suggested watering interval cannot account for your light, your humidity, your pot, your soil or the season.

Treat what Watered tells you as a helpful starting point and use your own judgement. Do not rely on it to decide whether a plant is safe to touch, eat or keep around children or animals. If that matters to you, check a reliable source. We are not responsible for damage to your plants.

04Your content

The photos and notes you put into Watered are yours. They stay on your phone and we do not claim any rights over them. The only exception is the moment you ask us to identify a plant, when that one photo is sent to our identification provider purely to give you an answer — this is described in the privacy policy.

Please only photograph things you have the right to photograph, and do not use the identification feature for anything illegal.

05Fair use of the app

When using Watered, please do not:

• Reverse-engineer, decompile or try to extract the app's source code
• Use it to break the law or infringe someone else's rights
• Automate or overload the identification feature, or use it as a general-purpose image recognition service
• Copy, resell or redistribute the app or its content as your own

06What belongs to us

The app itself — its code, design, name, logo and written content — belongs to NEXTPACE APP. You get a personal, non-exclusive licence to use it on your own devices. That licence does not transfer ownership of anything.

07The app is provided as it is

We build Watered carefully, but we cannot promise it will be free of bugs, always available, or right about every plant. It is provided as it is, without warranties beyond those your local law gives you and that cannot be excluded.

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for lost data, lost plants or missed reminders. Nothing here limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law.

If you are a consumer in the EU, your statutory rights are unaffected by anything in these terms.

08The app stores

You will have downloaded Watered from Apple's App Store or Google Play, and their terms apply to that download alongside these. Apple and Google are not parties to this agreement and are not responsible for the app or for support. Anything you buy through the stores is refunded under their policies, not ours.

09Stopping

You can stop using Watered at any time by deleting it from your phone. That removes the app's data with it. We may stop offering the app, or a feature of it, if we need to — and we will give notice in the app where that is reasonably possible.

10Changes to these terms

If we update these terms, we will change the date at the top of this page. If the change matters to you, we will tell you in the app before it takes effect. Continuing to use Watered after that means you accept the new version.

11Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Cyprus, and the courts of Cyprus have jurisdiction over any dispute. If you are a consumer living elsewhere in the EU, you keep the protection of your own country's mandatory consumer law and may bring proceedings there.
